  "The White House's gesture of hosting a dinner for journalists ahead of the American presidential elections was marred by protests against Israel outside the Washington Hilton Hotel. Organizers of the protest had already planned their demonstration in accordance with the previously arranged event at the hotel.  As journalists gathered for the honor ceremony, President Biden intended to participate but had to change his entry plan due to the substantial presence of demonstrators at the hotel's main entrance.
