Chairman PCB halts announcement of national team for T20 World Cup

  Mohsin Khan, the Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), has decided to delay the announcement of the national team. Reports indicate that during the recent meeting of the selection committee ahead of the T20 World Cup 2024 squad announcement, he expressed dissatisfaction with the exclusion of certain members from the decision-making process. He stressed the importance of considering the input of all members of the selection committee, rather than solely relying on the opinions of the captain, coach, and selectors present during the England tour. Khan emphasized the need for a comprehensive selection process that considers all committee members' views. As a result, the team's announcement will be postponed to a later date.
