Lahore witnessed exuberant celebrations for Eid Milad-un-Nabi (SAWW), marking the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). This auspicious occasion brought together people from diverse backgrounds, uniting them in religious zeal and fervor.

The day commenced with a resounding thirty-one-gun salute in Islamabad, the federal capital, and a twenty-one-gun salute in all provincial capitals, a powerful symbol of respect and reverence. Following the Fajr prayers, special congregational prayers were held at mosques across the nation, emphasizing the unity of the Muslim Ummah and praying for the progress and prosperity of Pakistan.

Radio Pakistan reported that cities and towns across the country hosted special conferences, events, and Mehfil-e-Milad gatherings to pay tribute to the final messenger of Allah Almighty. The life and teachings of the Holy Prophet are regarded as a guiding light for all of humanity, and these events served as a testament to the deep respect and love that the people hold for him.

The streets, roads, buildings, mosques, and houses were adorned with vibrant lights and flags, creating a picturesque landscape that mirrored the joyous spirit of the occasion.

President Dr. Arif Alvi and Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar both extended their blessings and called for unity among the nation, underscoring the significance of this sacred day.

President Alvi, in his message, highlighted that the birth of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) is a blessing of immeasurable magnitude for humanity. He emphasized that the life of the Prophet exemplified unwavering devotion to Allah Almighty, a commitment to justice, boundless compassion, and love for all human beings. President Alvi noted that the Prophet's life serves as a perfect model not only for faith and worship but also for all aspects of life. His teachings embody the comprehensiveness and universality of Islam's message.

Recognizing Pakistan's rich cultural and religious diversity, President Alvi stressed the importance of cherishing this diversity and working diligently to promote unity and mutual understanding among fellow citizens. He emphasized that the Prophet's timeless teachings continue to offer solutions to the challenges facing the world today, calling upon all Pakistanis to embrace and celebrate their country's cultural and religious diversity while fostering greater understanding and unity among its people.

PM Kakar, in his address, encouraged the nation to align their lives with Islamic principles and to spread the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). He reminded Pakistanis of their privilege to be part of the Ummah of the Prophet (PBUH). Kakar highlighted the Prophet's life as an exemplar of compassion, tolerance, and love, urging Pakistanis to embody these values of brotherhood, love, and compassion. He emphasized the importance of making the Prophet's message a guiding light for unity and brotherhood among Muslims and people of different faiths, especially in these challenging times.

The prime minister called for a return to the Holy Prophet's (PBUH) teachings, particularly when Pakistan faces various challenges. He also stressed the significance of compassion for the less fortunate, aligning with the Holy Prophet's (PBUH) teachings. Kakar called upon the nation to unite in assisting those in need, striving to create a more equitable and just society.

In his closing remarks, Kakar prayed to Almighty Allah to make Pakistan a beacon of peace, progress, and brotherhood, enabling its citizens to collectively and individually follow the teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).
