During the Group A clash of the Asia Cup in Kandy on a memorable Saturday, Pakistan's pace trio of Shaheen Afridi, Naseem Shah, and Haris Rauf etched their names into the annals of cricket history. Their extraordinary performance left fans in awe.

Shaheen Afridi, the tall and menacing left-arm pacer, initiated the demolition early in the innings. His sheer pace and pinpoint accuracy rattled the Indian batting lineup. Afridi's brilliance resulted in four crucial wickets, including the prized scalps of Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Hardik Pandya, and Ravindra Jadeja.

With the top-order dismantled, it was Haris Rauf's turn to shine. Known for his fiery spells, Rauf took charge and claimed key wickets, dismissing Shubman Gill, Shreyas Iyer, and Ishan Kishan.

Not to be outdone, Naseem Shah joined the party with his blistering deliveries. His raw pace left the Indian batsmen bewildered as he took three vital wickets, sending Shardul Thakur, Kuldeep Yadav, and Jasprit Bumrah back to the pavilion.

In a historic feat, this Pakistani trio became the first set of pacers to capture all ten wickets in a single Asia Cup ODI match. However, their remarkable achievement was overshadowed by heavy rainfall, forcing the match to be called off without a result. Pakistan secured 3 points, while India managed 1, and Pakistan advanced to the super four stage.

This remarkable display of pace bowling will be etched in the memories of cricket enthusiasts for years to come, showcasing the immense talent and potential of Pakistan's fast bowlers on the international stage.
