Cricket fans faced disappointment as the first T20I match between Pakistan and England was canceled due to constant rain in Leeds on Wednesday.


The picturesque Headingley Stadium was covered as it rained all morning. With the field too wet and the rain not letting up, officials decided to call off the match half an hour before the coin toss.


Now, attention turns to Edgbaston, where the second T20I is set for May 25. Both teams are eager to secure an early lead in this four-match series as they prepare for the T20 World Cup 2024. This series is crucial as both teams are skipping the official warm-up matches for the tournament.
